Description
Dog Breed: German Shepherd Dog (medium coat). Carla is a laidback, wonderful dog who has shown she can do well in a home with other animalsâincluding chicks, cats, and another dog. She is also great with kids, making her an excellent family companion. Carla is housebroken, learning to use a doggy door, and absolutely loves mealtime. In playgroup at the shelter, she greeted other dogs politely, was steerable, and even showed a bit of playfulness. Carla came into the shelter on 8/11, ill and diagnosed with parvo. Thanks to dedicated care, she made a full recovery and is now ready to find her forever home. She is heartworm positive, but she has already started treatment. With her gentle nature and easygoing personality, Carla is ready to bring love and calm to a family of her own.
