Dog Breed: Dachshund (short coat). 3 year old 10 pound boy Sweet and snuggly Very playful and would love a playmate and an active house. Friendly with everyone Great with other dogs Bear came to us with IVDD. He lost the use of his back legs and had surgery. Unfortunately, he has not regained full use of his backend. He does take a couple of steps and his tail wags. He comes with his very own cart and drag bags. He is SUPER quick with and without his cart. Bear is so ready for a home of his very own! His foster mom says the hardest thing about caring for Bear is keeping up with him! We are happy to answer questions applicants have about how to care for Bear, we can tell you that it’s no more difficult than caring for a dog that uses all 4 legs!
