Breed: Likely Whippet/Lab Mix Age: ~1 to 1.5 years Weight: ~25 lbs Spayed, Microchipped, and Fully Vetted Bella Rue’s story is one of resilience and hope. We found this sweet girl on the side of a busy road, severely underweight and clearly in need of help. Despite her condition, she came right up to us with a wagging tail and gentle eyes, trusting and loving from the start. A trip to the vet revealed she had been microchipped but heartbreakingly abandoned by her previous owner. Now fully vetted and thriving, Bella Rue has a clean bill of health (aside from needing a little extra food and love to get to a healthy weight). She is spayed, heartworm negative, parasite-free, and up to date on her rabies and parvo/distemper vaccines. Bella Rue is an absolute gem with people of all ages, including children. She has a calm, sweet, and affectionate temperament. She’s fully potty trained, does well in her crate when sleeping or left alone, and she’s eager to please. Bella Rue already knows sit, stay, spin, and has excellent recall. At just 25 lbs now, the vet thinks her perfect weight will be close to 35 lbs.
