After being abandoned by his previous owner, Maui is now safe and loved — and we’re determined to find him the committed, caring family he deserves. Maui is an amazing young dog — gentle, obedient, well-mannered, and to us, absolutely perfect. He fit right into our home and our pack almost immediately, and we’re truly enjoying every moment with him. Maui when first rescued would flinch when petted over the head or offered kisses — it’s clear he hasn’t had much positive handling however little by little, he’s learning that affection, cuddles, and kisses are wonderful things. He’s opening up more each day and becoming more confident with love and trust. Maui would do well in any family setting, and he’s just as content lounging inside as he is spending time outdoors with his people. Maui is: Crate trained, Potty trained, Leash trained, Great with kids, cats, and all dogs, Calm, gentle, and full of quiet charm. If you’re looking for a mellow, sweet companion with a heart of gold, Maui may be your perfect match. He has had a vet visit, is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated - DHPP x 1, Rabies & Bordetella x 2. He’s had a 4 DX test (testing for Lyme disease and two types of tick-borne illnesses), flea/tick/heartworm prevention (Nexgard Plus), two dewormings, and 2 fecal test. Adopters will receive all original paperwork, a 14-day health guarantee, a collar, harness, leash, seatbelt lock, and a week's worth of food. We operate on a first-come, first-served basis and are by appointment only. We are located in Mesa near Gilbert/Brown & offer flexible hours for meet-and-greet appointments.
