Dog Breed: Terrier / Mixed. Available for Adoption! Hadley a beautiful pup who was rescued from a heartbreaking hoarding situation up north—where 30–40 small dogs (small breed female 25 lbs. Males 30 lbs. or less) were found fending for themselves. Hadley is now ready to start her new life filled with love, care, and adventure. Hadley is such a sweet and attentive puppy. She will continuously make eye contact ready for training. She is a beautiful puppy with such a sweet and gentle spirit. She is very smart , fun, playful and very quiet. Hadley can entertain herself providing she has her toys around, she is not destructive, is polite and loves to cuddle. She is housed with Harlow and they do great sharing food and toys. She has had 2 vet visits, is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated - DHPP x 2 (needs 2 more & are included through GTDR), Rabies, & Bordetella x 2., a 4 DX test (testing for Lyme disease and two types of tick-borne illness, flea/tick/heartworm prevention (Nexgard Plus), two dewormings, and 2 fecal test. Adopters will receive all original paperwork, a 14-day health guarantee, a collar, harness, leash, seatbelt lock, and a week's worth of food. We operate on a first-come, first-served basis and are by appointment only. We are located in Mesa near Gilbert/Brown & offer flexible hours for meet-and-greet appointments. A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
