My name is Guera, but my foster parents, the masterminds of my epic adventure, call me Gigi. It’s short for Goofy Girl and Gorgeous Girl, and frankly, I'm a connoisseur of both. I’m a three-year-old Boxsky, which is the highly official scientific term for a Husky and Boxer mix. My stats are simple: 46 pounds of pure joy, spayed, microchipped, fully potty-trained, and up-to-date on all my vaccinations. Oh, and I have these two-toned eyes that will give you the most adoring, soul-piercing looks you've ever received. I also have the most magnificent, soft ears, the better to hear you with! My foster parents say I'm an athlete, a gymnast, and a contortionist all rolled into one. When I'm not striking a gravity-defying pose for a nap, I'm out there living my best life. This includes, but is not limited to, long hikes, epic zoomies in a big, secure yard, and a passionate dabble in the ancient art of parkour. My personal best is almost scaling a six-foot fence to pursue a rogue squirrel. Because of my impressive athleticism (and a strong prey drive!), a secure, six-foot fenced yard is an absolute must to keep me from launching myself on a heroic mission after a fluffy-tailed nemesis. A home without small animals like cats or rabbits is also a good idea. I'm wicked smart and a quick study, which is good because I'm still perfecting my leash manners. My future family needs to be my training partner to ensure I graduate from "pulling force of nature" to "lady-like walking companion." I'm also a bit of a stage-five clinger, so a human who's home a lot or can take me to work would be my dream come true. My exuberant spirit is best suited for a home with dog-savvy older children who can appreciate a good cuddle puddle without being accidentally toppled. I can be a little choosy about my canine companions, so a proper, slow introduction is key. With the right pup, I can be a great housemate, as long as they aren't too lunge-y or forceful in their play style.
