Dog Breed: German Shepherd Dog / Mixed (medium coat). #A5715840 Beautiful big Obi Wan is a calm 7 year old boy who seems like he was once loved and spoiled with food and treats. Our volunteers think he needs to lose at least 20 pounds, currently he’s 101 pounds which is a lot of strain on his bones. If you want to lose weight too, Obi Wan would be a great partner to get your steps in. Very good on leash! Easy for our volunteer to handle and a joy to be around. -Pretty brown and tan coat! SO handsome! -Neutered 101lbs male German Shepherd mix -When we met he was being treated for a cold and an ear infection and should be feeling much better soon -Signs of housebreaking, but we can’t tell if he’s had much training -Could have a husky or collie in his family tree based on his looks -Great personality! Our volunteers enjoyed meeting him -Came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center as a stray on July 25, but based on his weight, we don’t think he was on his own very long. -A health waiver may be required for his possible ear infection, possible hip issues (all the more reason to help him lose weight) and when we met him he was being treated for an upper respiratory infection (cold).
