Adoption Fee: 650. adoption donation : $650 weight 35 lbs Age 9 months as of 8/25 Helena is a smart, beautiful pup who adores other dogs and attaches strongly to her person, she is affectionate and loving and follows her Foster Mom from room to room, tail wagging. Helena, her two sisters and a brother were found by a truck driver in a rural part of Mississippi, abandoned in a deserted field. Two other siblings had already sadly passed away. The driver gathered up the remaining pups and brought them to Wags. At the rescue the puppies thrived, getting the vet care, food and vaccines that they need. One by one they traveled up to the northeast. Sweet Helena recently arrived in her foster home And quickly fell in love with her Foster Mom. She’s definitely timid and is less secure around men. We think a home with another dog would be perfect for her, it would help Helena build confidence. Wags is a struggling 501(c) 3 where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 150 homeless and stray dogs. Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue.
