At around 3.5 years old, this beauty is the perfect companion for an adopter who wants to spoil a deserving pup rotten. Lola is a loyal, loving, and smart girl who is eager to please and has a blast doing so. She loves people and is an endless source of affection, always ready to snuggle up for some quality cuddle time on the couch or ready to take on the next adventure! Lola recently found herself back at Safe Haven after a difficult decision made by her recent adopters. Her previous family adored her SO much, but Lola struggled with sharing her space and resources with the other dog in the home causing a serious altercation between the two dogs. This incident caused further concern for the safety of those living in the home leading to the return of both dogs back to Safe Haven. Lola can be a sensitive soul who truly thrives when she can have a calm and quiet environment all to herself. Lola is looking for a home where she can be the one and only canine companion—a place where she doesn't have to worry about competing for attention or toys or her people. She is much more relaxed and comfortable when she can have her own space without the stress of sharing. She has history of allergies and needing treatment to help manage her allergy symptoms. She has most recently been receiving monthly allergy injections and regular bathing per her veterinarian's recommendation. We will continue the allergy injections while she's under our care and continue to monitor her progress. Lola is a busybody who loves to be active and engaged. She's looking for a home with someone who can give her plenty of enrichment activities, whether it's puzzle toys, long walks, or training sessions that challenge her mind. Her ideal home is one where her adopter(s) can give her the patience and understanding she needs to truly blossom.
