Description
Dog Breed: Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Meet Brulé: Your Future Furry Best Friend! Prepare to fall head over paws for Brulé, an impossibly cute 3½-month-old Shepherd mix puppy with a heart as soft as her fur! This sweet little lady is ready to bring endless joy and playful antics into her forever home. With her curious eyes and a perpetually wagging tail, Brulé is a delightful bundle of puppy energy just waiting to be unleashed on a comfy lap or a fun-filled play session. She's a social butterfly who loves other dogs and is always happy to snuggle after an exciting day. While we're not sure about cats just yet, Brulé is a adaptable girl who warms up to anyone given a little time. She dreams of a family who will shower her with love, continue her puppy training, and include her in all of life's happy moments. Brulé can get a little worried when left alone, so a home where other dogs and people live would be ideal. Could that be you?

Breed overview

Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
