NORM - SHIH TZU DOG FOR ADOPTION

Dog Breed: Shih Tzu. Adoption Fee: $650. Norm is a very handsome little Shih Tzu puppy in search of his forever family. Norm's foster describes him as a tiny dynamo - always running and playing. He loves all people and loves to give kisses! Norm does great with the other dogs and is a very sweet and loveable little guy. Norm has lots of puppy energy and needs room to run and explore so a fenced in yard is a must. ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: LOCAL (Sioux Falls, SD area) only until his neuter scheduled 9/22/25 (covered by SFCR). Physically fenced in yard to keep him safe. Family with the time and patience required to properly socialize and train a puppy. *All SFCR dogs are current on age-appropriate vaccinations (rabies, distemper, bordetella, and lepto), spayed/neutered (if at least 6 months of age), tested for heartworm & tick-borne disease, receive dentals if needed, are started on preventatives for heartworm and fleas/ticks, and microchipped. Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have received limited socialization, so they may need extra time to adjust and settle in. Older children are often a great fit for our dogs, and family's with younger children will be considered based on each dog's individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may require a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of our dogs adapt quite quickly.
