Dog Breed: Chihuahua / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: $350.00. Hi, I’m Polar Bear! I’m a 1 year old, 12 lb female Chihuahua Mix. I’m a playful cuddle bug who loves to be pet and snuggled. I’d happily spend my days as your shadow, curled up next to you or tagging along on an adventure. When I’m not snuggling, I love exploring outside, going on walks, and running in the yard. I’m learning to walk on a leash and doing really well. I love people and other dogs. I can be a little timid at first, but I’m not shy. I warm up quickly and greet new friends with a happy, wagging tail. I enjoy playing with other dogs and would do really well in a home with canine friends. I’m housetrained and do best with frequent potty breaks since I don’t quite know how to tell my people when I need to go out yet. My foster home doesn’t have a doggy door, but I think I’d do great with one (though it isn’t a must for me). I’m also making wonderful progress with kennel training. And I really enjoy car rides too, if you’re willing to let me tag along! I’m a fun-loving, happy dog, and I’m working on all my doggy manners. I love scratches and cuddles so much that sometimes I ask for them by jumping to your hand or placing my paw on it. I’m still young and learning how to give space when needed (though hopefully you don’t need too much). Most of all, I just want to be with you. I’ll be your little shadow, always ready for cuddles and always hoping for a free hand to give me pets, treats, or take me outside for an adventure.
