Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mixed (medium coat). Meet Roxy. She is a super sweet young lab mix who enjoys spending time with her person, exploring, and playing with other dogs. She spent her young life tied to a tree with no interaction or love, so she craves and basks in any attention she gets. Roxy is a beautiful girl with a fawn colored coat mixed with white, fawn spots on her legs and a white spot on her head. She has gorgeous, soulful eyes. Roxy is currently with a foster and is the sweetest girl in spite of her previous life. She is enjoying her freedom, working eagerly on leash training and housebreaking. She wants to please. Things Roxy has learned in a very, very short time with her foster; She crates with a bit of gentle persuaion. She doesn't whimper or fuss when crated and sleeps all night, giving tail wags before falling to sleep quickly. No barking. She sits at the door to go outside and waits to be leashed, she also sits and waits until her foster tells her it's ok to go back in. She walks well on leash. No food aggression. She has not had any accidents in the house. She adores her Foster's boyfriend!!! She is laid back and a super-smart, very chilled out dog, which is amazing given her history of being chained and neglected.
