Adoption Fee: $300 Frank’s journey started with a twist of fate — this sweet pup was rescued from the roadside by a kind-hearted family who saw him being abandoned. They gave him love, a warm bed, and a chance to thrive. Frank was ALL IN — playful, cuddly, great with kids, and learning fast! But… Frank thinks chickens are snacks. So now he’s looking for a new home — one without feathered friends. Frank is cool with other dogs & cats. What Frank brings to the table: Happy-go-lucky energy Potty training progress Crate comfort champ Kid-approved Ready to learn and love Frank needs a fenced yard to keep his zoomies safe and sound. He’s an active boy who’ll thrive with a family that loves adventure, playtime, and puppy snuggles. Ready to meet Frank? New foster dogs need time to feel safe. They may be skittish or fearful, so always stay with them outside—even in fenced yards. Ensure collars and leashes fit securely to prevent escapes. Your gentle presence and protection help them feel loved and secure. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 13 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heartworm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
