Introducing the CHUGS! These little cuties are thought to be chihuahua and pug mixes, AKA Chug (mom is a chug, dad unknown), but your guess is as good as ours! There are five in the chug litter - two girls and three boys. Clem'entine (Clem) is a handsome little dude ready for fun, loves, and sleep! He is an affectionate and intelligent cutie who eager to please. He loves squeaky toys, fetch, chew toys, and digging. He loves playing tug-o-war, bitey-mouth and wrestling with other pups. Don't worry though - he's also content to snooze on your lap while you're watching tv! Clem can seem shy and concerned at first but he warms up and is eager to interact quickly. He is interested in cats in a playful way. He enjoys snuggling but does not like to be picked up. We do not recommend him for a home with kids, but visiting kids would be great as long as they respect his boundaries. His Southern fosters report "He is like a child that wants you to understand his yap and tap dance and butt in the air play!", "Great size and hearty little dog." Being just puppies, the Chug pups have so much to learn! They'll need house training, crate training and will need to learn to walk on a leash. We strongly recommend that all our dogs attend obedience classes because you get to learn commands together, and it offers an opportunity for confidence building and socialization for the dog.
