Dog Breed: Terrier / Chihuahua / Mixed. A LOVABLE & HANDSOME GUY: Approx. 6 years old / Approx. 21 lbs. Hello there, I’m Tyler! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control. I sure am excited to be on the journey to my new home. The volunteers are taking great care of me, and I now hear that it is time for me to find my new family. Yay! Let’s start our ‘happily ever after’ soon! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I recently met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and liked them. So, if you have a nice doggie at home already, let’s meet and see if we can be pals! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I am a gentle boy with a handsome chestnut coat and some mysterious little scars that are healed and I’m slowly growing some white fur in that area. No one really knows what happened to me and I don’t remember, but I don’t let them define me — I’m still the same sweet, good pup inside. The volunteers describe me as friendly, happy and sweet! I was a little unsure when having my pictures taken — what is that flash thing anyway? But I did my best for the photographer. I may have had a rough situation at some part of my life, but I’m really a sweet boy hoping for someone to see past the scars and notice the loving heart underneath. / My energy level is 4-6. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I am a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I am learning lots of great commands with my trainer. I’ve already mastered the ‘sit’ command and look forward to learning lots more. Check back soon to see my progress. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / My potty habits have been good on the shelter schedule, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home, too. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I’m curious about toys, love to sniff on my walks, and I’m a pretty easy companion on the leash. Even bath time was enjoyable — I just stayed calm and let the suds wash over me. I like being with my people and look forward to lots of memory making with them! / I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, good care, attention, exercise and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I don’t know if my fur will fully grow back where my scars are, but I don’t mind and hope you won’t either. I am looking for a wonderful furever home with a loving family! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
