Dog Breed: German Shepherd Dog (short coat). This German Shepherd is named Midnight - he weighs around 55-60 pounds and is 1-2 years old. Midnight and his buddy Moonbeam were dogs that are commonly dropped off on a road in a rural mountain area. NOBODY can believe that these two dogs were not wanted, but nobody ever claimed them. Midnight is a favorite at the shelter. Everyone loves him due to his calm and extremely loving behavior. He waits patiently till someone will come over to his run to pet him. He gets along with all dogs and loves all people. We believe he had training somewhere along the way. He walks well on a leash, seems to be fully housebroken, and a joy to be around. How anyone could have part with this wonderful dog is beyond all who have met him. He is fully vetted and will make an excellent family pet.
