Dog Breed: Terrier / Mixed. Meet Jewel! Jewel is a 15-pound, 4-year-old scruffy low-rider with a big personality packed into a small frame. She’s playful, curious, and full of charm — a laid-back little girly pop who’s happiest tagging along at your side or lounging nearby once she’s had her fill of fun. She came to us with another pup, Blu, and the two clearly have a bond. Jewel’s the calmer of the pair, more observant than rowdy, and tends to let Blu take the lead. That said, she’s not dependent on him. Jewel would do well on her own in a home with another friendly, confident dog, but we’d also consider placing her with Blu for the right experienced adopter who can offer them both the decompression time and structure they need to settle in. Jewel gets along well with other dogs and has no issue sharing toys or treats. She’s sweet, scruffy, and soulful — the kind of dog who will quietly win your heart in all the best ways. If you’re looking for a relaxed but still spunky sidekick and have the experience to help her thrive, Jewel might just be your perfect match. This dog is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. (Please note: Puppies under 3 months old may not be sterilized prior to adoption.
