Description
Dog Breed: Brittany (short coat). Dixie Mae is a 5.5-year-old Brittany who is very affectionate and just wants to help her people. Dixie loves to “help” in the kitchen or with fixing cars. Dixie is very much a people pleaser and is driven by praise. Dixie is very content as long as she is with her people or her best Brittany buddy, Dexter, whom she is completed bonded with. Dixie and Dexter will only be adopted together. Dixie doesn’t like loud noises or people yelling. Dixie occasionally likes to play in the water and loves to blow bubbles while playing in her kiddie pool. Dixie also loves to “dance” with people, especially mature, dog-savvy kids. Dixie loves car rides and looking out the window. Dixie will need to go to a home with a good-sized yard and a secure, 6-foot privacy fence so she and Dexter can go on squirrel patrol and run zoomies. Her new family should have Brittany experience and be ready and willing to provide both Dixie and Dexter with daily exercise. Dixie is spayed and current on her vaccinations. Dixie’s adoption fee is $350.00 If you are interested in making Dixie Mae and Dexter members of your family, and have the time, energy, and love to give them, please visit .nbran and complete the on-line adoption application form under the Adopt tab. A phone interview, home visit, and vet check will be required as part of the approval process. If you have questions after you have completed the adoption application, contact Patti at 801.641.4053. Please realize that all our dogs are placed in the most appropriate home for their individual needs. We do not operate on a first-come, first-serve basis. Dixie Mae and Dexter are eligible for our canine railroad to approved adopters for them and can be transported up to 1400 miles from SLC with the last leg (100 miles) being driven by the adopter.
