Dog Breed: Unknown breed. Hello, I rescued an abandoned younger male Pitbull Mix. Saw him walking the street, opened my car door he jumped right in. I've been fostering him for the last 5 months, on my own, not through an organization. He is the absolute sweetheart. I had him neutered and rabies vaccinated, he is on a heatworm preventative. I've been working with him, he has taken to his leash well, he is housebroken and loves his crate. He sleeps with me every night. I can't keep him since I will be traveling abroad quite a bit and he needs a stable home. He has two speeds Warp 9 and sleeping. It will break my heart to give him up. Sorry , long story longer I was wondering if you had any suggestons for me finding him a forever home. I had him registered on Re-Home he had like 236 views, one lady that really wanted him we spoke several times and then she ghosted me. People are so strange but it was for the best. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds.
