Colby was rescued from a bad situation, was scared and has to learn to trust. He is not aggressive in fact he is very sweet and affectionate however he will require patience while he adjusts to his new home. He does warm up and will become your best friend. After a day you will see he’s a happy, easygoing guy with good overall manners and a heart full of affection. Colby is well-behaved and always ready to share his sweet kisses. His favorite things include: Cuddling close, Curling up in your lap, Just being near his people. Colby is Crate trained, working on potty training. He was recently neutered and will mark a bit initially so he has a belly band for training & will require some basic training once stable in his new home. He is great with kids, cats, and all dogs. Colby was positive for anaplasmosis (tick fever not contagious to humans or other animals) treatment is 30 days of Doxycycline which would be paid for and provided by GTDR . He has had a vet visit, is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated - DHPP x 2, Rabies & Bordetella x 2. He’s had a 4 DX test (testing for Lyme disease and two types of tick-borne illnesses), flea/tick/heartworm prevention (Nexgard Plus), 2 dewormings, and 1 fecal test. Adopters will receive all original paperwork, a 14-day health guarantee, a collar, harness, leash, seatbelt lock, and a week's worth of food. We operate on a first-come, first-served basis and are by appointment only. We are located in Mesa near Gilbert/Brown & offer flexible hours for meet-and-greet appointments.
