Description
Dog Breed: Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: 400. Online Adoption Application › Meet Quinn! This sweet girl was abandoned at someone's house. They took her in and then shortly after the boyfriend started making threats against Quinn. She has NOT let that slow her down! This girl is a love bug. She doesn't know a stanger. She walked around at the event like everyone was there for her. Quinn is very smart and is showing signs of being somewhat potty trained at 2 months old. She will use a pee pad over going potty on the floor. Quinn can be a little vocal. We just think it's her sass coming out! This girl is very goofy and will sleep in her toy box, despite having several dog beds to choose from! Quinn certainly has quite the past but she doesn't let it slow her down! She is ready for her forever home and can't wait to get adopted! ************************************************************************ The adoption fee is $400, which covers food, vetting, microchip and the spay/neuter surgery performed by a rescue-affiliated vet. All dogs receive a wellness visit and are up to date on shots appropriate for age. Breed and size is Pawfect Match Rescue's best guess and not guaranteed. Breed overview

Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
