Meet Jojo – A Gentle Soul Ready to Start Her Next Chapter Hi, I’m Jojo – a 1.5-year-old Doodle mix with a heart full of hope and a story that’s ready for a happy ending. I’m a medium-sized girl, and while I may still need to gain a few pounds, I’m already well on my way thanks to the loving care of my foster family. Before I came into rescue, life was hard. I was found abandoned—starving, severely matted, and scared. But everything changed when the kind folks at Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno gave me a second chance. They saw past my rough beginnings and knew there was a sweet, gentle pup underneath all that hardship. Now, I’m safe, warm, and healing in a foster home where I get meals three times a day, a cozy bed, and lots of love. I’ve discovered that I enjoy playing with dogs of all sizes—and even cats! I can be a little reserved at first, but in a quiet, patient home with a gentle routine, I really start to shine. I’d thrive in a home that’s active but not overwhelming—maybe with another friendly dog to show me the ropes. Most of all, I’m looking for someone who understands that I’ve been through a lot, and is ready to make a 15-year commitment to love and care for me as family. Could that someone be you?
