Dog Breed: Whippet / Greyhound / Mixed. Presto is a sweet and handsome young guy with long legs, perky ears, a heart-shaped nose, and a gray mask. Found as an emaciated stray in Baltimore, he needs a second chance in a loving home. We don't know his history, however, whatever he has been through has not dampened his spirits or hardened his heart. His foster says he is a snuggler! She also says he is an angel who enjoys tug of war, chewing his toys, and watching the word go by out the front windows. Presto is two years old, now 20 pounds, and perky. His tiny frame belies his big heart and willingness to please. He loves his walks and he loves people. He will approach strangers with a wagging tail looking for pets and ear scratches. Presto loves to play and would do well in a household where walks and outdoor time are plentiful, and he would be best with another doggie playmate! When he finishes playtime, Presto leans into you, gets comfortable, his eyes begin to droop, and he falls into a lovely little slumber. Presto loves other dogs, he is house and crate trained. He knows some basic commands. His foster says he is very smart, picks up commands quickly, and she is currently working on gettting Presto to bring a thrown ball back to her.
