Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / American Staffordshire Terrier / Mixed. Adoption Fee: 600. Tristan was picked up as a stray puppy, dealing with parasites and skin problems, but you’d never know it from his sunny personality. He’s intelligent, playful, and downright adorable. He warms up quickly to people and loves being part of the action. Tristan is crate trained and enjoys toys, water, and plenty of playtime with his dog friends. Like many young pups, he sometimes forgets to go potty when he’s busy outside, so consistency with training will help him along. One of his quirks is that he sometimes howls instead of barking, which just adds to his charm. With moderate energy, Tristan balances play with cuddle time, and he’ll happily settle in as a lap buddy. He is ready to find a family to guide him as he grows! Tristan is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 9/20/2025 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 9am and noon. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start’s veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.
