Dog Breed: Beagle. A SWEET FELLOW: Approx. 6 years old / Approx. 25 lbs. Hi, my name is Clayton! I’m a handsome Beagle who found myself at animal control, but luckily Mostly Mutts came for me and now I’m safe and sound while I search for my forever family. I’m excited to meet the people who will love me, give me lots of attention, and let me enjoy life the way a Beagle should — with plenty of sniffs, fun, and love! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I haven’t met other dogs at Mostly Mutts yet, so let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m a sweet, gentle boy with a friendly spirit, though I can be a little timid when first getting to know someone. Once I warm up, you’ll see my curious, happy side and maybe even my cautious little attempts at play. I can freeze up sometimes when I’m unsure, but with patience and kindness, I come around quickly. I was calm and relaxed during my bath — even with all that ear cleaning — and I showed just how patient and easygoing I can be. With the right person by my side, I’ll be your loyal, loving companion. / Energy level: 4-6 • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the ‘sit’ command and I look forward to learning more. / I’m doing well in my crate at Mostly Mutts. / My potty manners have been good on the shelter schedule, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home, too. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love belly rubs and will happily roll over for more, and of course I enjoy sniffing with my Beagle nose. I’m sure we’ll find lots more that we’ll enjoy doing together. / I wouldn’t want to be rushed into new situations, etc. so let’s take our time. I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I have moderate tartar on my teeth, so my adoptive family should consult with their vet and consider a dental cleaning in the future. I’m looking for a wonderful family to love and be loved by. My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
