HOUSTON 825 Happy, Healthy HOUSTON is an adorable, playful buddy-dog in need of a forever home! He IS a purebred Aussie but has a gorgeous fan tail that wiggles with happiness. Houston was abandoned then taken in by Carrollton Animal Services in North Texas. They were so helpful and cooperative working with DASH for Houston’s care, vetting and assessment while on stray-hold. Sweet Houston LOVES to play with other dogs. He would do best with a large female canine companion. He takes cues from other dogs very well! Houston is already housebroken but he also doesn’t mind being in a crate. He seems comforted by it and walks right into it. Houston knows some basic commands and loves squeaky plush toys and tennis balls or any toy he can play with alone or with a friend. Houston has a gorgeous fan-tail that he wags happily; he falls asleep with his feet in the air sometimes and he adores belly-rubs. Houston is a wonderful cuddler and snuggle-bug, too. We work hard to match EACH dog with the right family - kids or no kids, other dogs male or female and/or cats. With very rare exceptions all dogs over 6 months will be spayed or neutered PRIOR to adoption - dogs under 6 months will include a spay/neuter date AND referral info for lower-cost surgery if the adopter does not choose to use her or his personal vet. OUR VETS WILL NOT PERFORM SPAY NEUTER SURGERIES UNTIL DOG IS 6 MONTHS OLD. General Info - PLEASE READ!
