Best Guess for Age: 6 months as of September 2025 SEX: Female Approximate Weight: 23.5 lbs as of 9/7/25 - she is still growing! Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Currently Living at: Puerto Rico shelter - needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here! Special adoption considerations: Dogs from Puerto Rico have a major transition to go through when they arrive and will need humans who are very committed to socialization. We think Marina would do best with either a resident dog or a family who can make sure she can go on walks regularly with other dogs, visit the dog park, or go to doggie daycare to learn the ropes. Island life was good and all that for my brother Novak and I, but now we're ready to split up and get our own families and the DC area is the best place for that!
