Description
Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Boxer / Mixed. Corinna and her siblings were brought to the shelter after being found abandoned in a yard. She is so friendly and loves to lounge around in a kiddie pool and relax. She would be OK in an apartment, with proper exercise. She would do great in a home with proper training and reinforcement. She gets along with everyone, but since she's never had a proper home, we do not know if she is good with cats. Come meet her today!

Breed overview
Overview:
The Boxador, a popular designer dog, is a lively crossbreed resulting from the union of a Boxer and a Labrador Retriever. Originating in North America, this hybrid was developed to combine the best traits of its parent breeds, creating a loyal and energetic companion. Physically, Boxadors are medium to large-sized dogs with a muscular build, typically weighing between 50-80 pounds. Their coat is short and dense, varying in color from brindle and fawn to black and chocolate, often displaying the distinctive Boxer mask or the gentle Lab expression. Temperamentally, they are known for being friendly, intelligent, and highly social, making them excellent family pets that thrive on interaction. While adaptable, their energy levels mean they require regular exercise and are best suited for homes with yards rather than small apartments. Prospective owners should be aware of potential health concerns inherited from their parent breeds, such as hip and elbow dysplasia, certain cancers, and heart conditions like aortic stenosis.
