Dog Breed: Spaniel / Mixed. Magpie is thought to be a Spaniel mix. Estimated at 3-months-old and weighing in at 22bs, Magpie has completely stolen her foster family’s hearts—and it’s easy to see why. This sweet, soulful girl may start off nervous, but once she trusts you, she’s your shadow, your snuggle buddy, your best friend. Magpie is full of energy and smarts. She’s already mastered “sit” and “give paw,” is nearly housebroken, and walks beautifully on a leash without pulling. She’s also fully crate trained and quietly settles in at bedtime—no fuss at all! Magpie had a rough start to life, but now that she’s discovered love and safety, she can’t get enough of it. She thrives on human connection, loves to cuddle, and finds true joy in making her people happy. She’s eager to learn, quick to pick up new tricks, and always ready for a game of fetch or a good chew on her favorite toy.
