Name: Camryn Best Guess for Breed: Plott hound and boxer mix Best Guess for Age: 8 months as of September 2025 SEX: Female Approximate Weight: 34 lbs as of 9/8/25 - she is still growing! Gets Along With: Camryn does well with other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Currently Living at: South Carolina shelter - needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here. Special Adoption Considerations: Camryn is shy and needs to go to a home with a confident, welcoming resident dog who will show her the ropes. Camryn is Looking For: Romps in parks and world exploration by her new humans' side! This pretty girl is eager to burn off all that young-dog energy and make pup and people pals along the way. To get there, she needs extra patient and loving adopters who understand she hasn't seen enough of the world yet and needs a little more support to become comfortable in new environments. A friendly resident dog will show her how to dog too! Most of all, she wants to know where her home is, to know she's safe and loved for all her days.
