Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever (short coat). Pet Description: Bobo is an eight-month old neutered male Chocolate Lab, 70 lbs. He was surrendered for eating all their chickens, the neighbors chickens (and busted through fencing to get to them) and ducks. So Bobo might be best as a city Lab to keep chickens and waterfowl safe. Bobo is a wonderful dog, good with children and other dogs, not sure about cats. He is housetrained and was trained to ring the bells to go outside (we have his bells to go with him). He is also crate-trained. Bobo is NOT a fan of loud noises and things like gunfire and fireworks definitely scare him terribly. Bobo knows commands of sit, lay down, off & kennel up. Like most young Labs, he is also prone to chewing things. BoBo is a wonderful Lab - best with an active family/owner with a well fenced yard, as he has plenty of energy to burn at this age. DOG ADOPTION FEE is $100. This Adoption fee includes: mandatory spay/neuter which will be done before you can take your dog or puppy home with you; basic canine immunizations (DHPP-CPV & Bordatella Intranasal); de-wormings; one-year rabies vaccination if old enough; heartworm test if over five months old; microchip from 24-Pet Watch; certificate for free health examination at your participating veterinarian; and a goodie bag chocked full of information, toys, and more. (If a dog is sponsored or has a waived or lower fee, that info will be provided at the point of adoption to the approved adopter).
