We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Currently Living at: Southern shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here! Special adoption considerations: Kimchi is shy and needs to go to a home with a welcoming resident dog who will show her the ropes! Kimchi is Looking For: Her forever home! This young sweetie is eager to trot through life with all the confidence of a well-loved family pet. To get there, she needs extra loving and patient adopters who understand she needs a little extra help adjusting to new environments. A welcoming resident dog will help teach her how to dog too! Kimchi is very sweet and loving and will repay that investment with so many adoring gazes and tail wags and loyal companionship for all her days! What Kimchi Knows: Kimchi spent some time on the Dogs Playing For Life Canine Center campus in Florida. There, he received basic training and enrichment, and socialized with other dogs. She worked on the Sit and Place commands there, on loose leash walking, and sitting at open doors, waiting to be released to go out. She also got to play with enrichment toys such as food-filled Kongs and food puzzles. When she plays with other dogs, she loves wrestling and chasing them around.
