Dog Breed: German Shepherd Dog / Mixed (medium coat). Canela is ready to go home! Canela is a fast learning, spunky girl, who loves a good snack. Canela is still young and needs someone to keep her on the right track with her lessons because she has learned so much. Canela is mastering sit. She is learning to sit and wait for things like going outside and meals. She will also sit and wait if you are doing something amazing like cooking dinner. She loves to watch! Canela has mostly mastered fetch (without distractions). She loves to chase and play with the other dog in her foster home. She does well with the four children under the ages of 10 in her foster home. Canela has also started leash training and is learning to take short walks with her leash on. Canela loves to have lots of toys and chewy treats around the house. She is also very food motivated and will work hard for treats. Canela is such a fun girl who has started out strong but needs someone who will solidify her training and keep her going. She learns so fast!
