Carolina Poodle Rescue pulled her from the shelter. Foster location: Dreamweaver Farms, Pacolet SC Special Needs? Medli is spayed, up to date on vaccines and heartworm negative. Medli had a hematoma in the uterine stump. She has healed and is ready for her forever home.Medli was surrendered by her owners to a shelter. We do not have any paperwork on her life before rescue. Our best estimate is that she is a standard poodle. Without paperwork we cannot guarantee that she is a full poodle. Weight: 44 lbs Height: 24 in Spayed/Neutered: Yes Adoption Fee: $599 Fence needed? Yes, Medli requires a physically fenced yard with fencing 4 feet or taller. What kind of home would be best for me? Medli isn’t looking for a life full of chaos, loud sporting events, or constant hustle and bustle. Instead, she dreams of a calm, loving home where she can feel safe and cherished. While attention and love are at the top of her wish list, Medli would also benefit greatly from having another dog in the home. A gentle, confident friend who can help show her the ropes of this new life, is a must for her. She draws strength from canine companions, who help her feel secure in unfamiliar situations. What is my personality like? Meet Medli – A Gentle Soul Looking for Love. Medli is a beautiful black Standard Poodle with a heart full of sweetness and trust. She craves attention and affection and is searching for nothing more than a deep, lasting love in her new life. Medli’s journey hasn’t been easy. Her original owner, who loved her dearly, became terminally ill and could no longer care for her and her siblings. With a heavy heart, they were surrendered to a local shelter before coming into rescue. Now, Medli is ready for a fresh start — one filled with kindness, stability, and companionship. Medli walks nicely on a leash and looks to her handler for reassurance, often pausing and waiting for guidance. She only pulls if she’s startled, which shows just how eager she is to please and how much she values connection with her person. Medli is ready for a home that will give her the love and security she deserves — and in return, she’ll give you her whole heart. How do I act when I first meet new people? Medli may need a little time to adjust to new surroundings, but once she settles in, her true personality shines through. Other tips and tidbits: We were told that Medli is 2 years old. We celebrate her birthday 8/15/2023. House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule. Please note - we do not ship dogs.
