Meet Teddy, a 5 yr old 10 ob Yorkie who was very sadly surrendered by his owners but thankfully has landed in a loving foster home. After three weeks in a loving foster home, Teddy is blossoming into the sweet, affectionate pup we knew he could be. although still protective of his personal space, Teddy loves belly rubs, head scratches, walks, chasing tennis balls, and playing with toys. He’s not a picky eater and appreciates having a safe spot in his crate, which he’ll happily go into on command. This smart boy knows several basic cues, including “sit,” “paw,” “outside,” and “potty.” He’s curious about his surroundings (especially the kitchen!) and enjoys exploring on his walks. Because of his past, Teddy still needs a family who will respect his boundaries and give him time to adjust at his own pace. Once he feels safe, his affectionate and playful personality really shines. With continued patience, love, and guidance on his manners, Teddy will be a wonderful lifelong companion. A fully fenced in yard and homes with kids 12+ are requested for Teddy's adoptive family.
