Dog Breed: Pug / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: 350. ATTENTION: All of our dogs are in private foster homes. We do NOT have a kennel with multiple dogs. We will make every attempt to process all applications within 3 business days of receipt. // // Meet Spice, a 6-month-old, 12 pound pug mix. We don’t know what conditions she lived in before coming to us, but they have left her a little timid and scared of humans initially. She will warm up pretty quickly once she is comfortable, and then she loves to be around “her people.” She initially showed some separation anxiety if left alone, but is doing better now. She would do best with someone who is at home a lot and someone who has another dog to keep her company. She loves hanging out with and playing with other dogs. She is a very sweet dog who is house-trained and crate-trained. She will cry and whine in the morning to let you know that she is ready for you to let her out. She is not leash-trained at all. She has not been around small children, but is good with older kids. She is Spayed and up to date on vaccinations for his age. Her adoption fee is $350. A refundable training deposit of $100 will be also due upon adoption. Training must be provided in a timely fashion to ensure our pups become the best canine citizens. The training deposit will be refundable within 3 months of the adoption date. All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption. Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. Fees help Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs, vaccinations, medical treatments, food and supplies.
