Lola Girl | 1-Year-Old Chihuahua Mix | Zoomie and Snuggle Queen Meet Lola Girl, a playful and affectionate 27-pound Chihuahua mix who is about a year old. This little black beauty is full of life and always ready for adventure. With her boundless energy, Lola is like a wind-up toy—she can go and go, but once she’s had her fun, she’s happiest cuddled up by your side. Lola is house trained and lets you know she needs to go out in her own unique way—by gently nibbling your hand. She does well on walks, though she sometimes pulls in excitement, especially when she spots a bird, bunny, or even a falling leaf. She loves toys, bones, fetch, and car rides, and will happily toss a ball around to entertain herself. At the dog park, she’s all about making new friends and has done wonderfully with dogs of all ages and sizes. She’s also crate trained, settling down with just a little encouragement (a frozen treat helps!), and she sleeps peacefully once she’s in. Around new people, she may bark at first, but it’s only a moment before she’s wagging and soaking up all the attention. Lola has even spent some time around cats, though she’d likely do best in a home without them or with a very dog-savvy cat. Lola is smart and eager to learn—she knows “sit” and “leave it,” and she’s working on other commands. Like many young pups, she’s still mastering her manners, so she’ll need continued guidance with play biting, jumping up, and leash reactivity. Structure and boundaries have already helped her progress, and she’s very motivated by food and toys, which makes training fun. Her ideal home would be one with a yard where she can run to her heart’s content, or with an active adopter who loves walks, hikes, or playtime as much as she does. Lola would enjoy being the only dog, but she’d be thrilled to have a canine sibling to romp around with, too. Quirky, funny, and endlessly loving, Lola Girl is ready to bring joy, energy, and snuggles to her forever family. Could that be you? See more photos and videos of Lola Girl here!
