No What kind of home would be best for me? Duncan has never known life as a companion. He is accustomed to dogs (lots of them) and routine. You will teach him what being a pet means. The good news - Duncan is a happy dog that is eager to learn. His forever home is with a family that can offer him consistency and routine. A family that understands he has never lived in a home and is not house trained but is trying. A family that either has another dog or has a plan for socialization 4-5 times EVERY WEEK with other dogs. Duncan has never known life without canine companions. A family with an abundance of patience to go the distance with this special boy. Ideally, a family that has rescued before. Meet Duncan, a spirited little toy poodle with a zest for life! This happy guy zips around like he’s on his very own racetrack, and his joyful energy is contagious. When you walk in the room, he’ll bounce with excitement, eager to greet you and soak up all the attention and affection he can get. Duncan is a natural leader and would do well in just about any home. He gets along wonderfully with other small dogs and has always been surrounded by canine friends. While we’re confident he could do well as an only dog, Duncan will need regular playdates and doggy friendships to keep him fulfilled and happy. As a breeder surrender, Duncan is still learning the ropes of what it means to be a beloved house pet. With a little patience and guidance on basics like leash manners and household routines, he’ll quickly blossom into the well-mannered companion we know he can be. Duncan is ready to bring joy, laughter, and boundless love into his forever home! How do I act when I first meet new people? Duncan has personality to share is eager to meet you! Other tips and tidbits: Duncan's birthday is 01/01/2024 House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to /follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule. Please note - we do not ship dogs.
