Description
Dog Breed: Great Pyrenees (medium coat). Church is a 10-year-old Great Pyrenees with an Eeyore-esque personality and a kind soul. He spent his time before coming to the shelter as as a true working farm dog, living alongside cattle, pigs, goats, and chickens. Church can be timid in new environments and around new people, so he'll need a patient and understanding adopter whoâs willing to give him time to adjust to life in a home. A calm, consistent routine will help him feel safe and build trust at his own pace. Because of his background and breed traits, Church, would thrive best with someone experienced with Great Pyrenees or similar livestock guardian breeds. If you are interested in meeting Church, please visit the shelter during our open hours; Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri 10a-12:30p & 2p-4p, Thurs 10a-12:30p & 2p-6:30p, and Saturday 9a-1p. Adoption application can be filled out and approved during your meet-and-greet. If you have another dog in the home, plan to bring them for a meet before you complete the adoption!
