To ensure Buddy finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application in the order submitted and will contact you within 48 hours (please check your spam folder for our emails) . Buddy | 1-Year-Old Lab Mix | The Belly Rub King Who Loves to Play! Meet Buddy, a sweet and playful 1-year-old Lab mix weighing 38 pounds. With his handsome black-and-white coat and happy-go-lucky personality, he’s ready to charm his way into his forever home. Buddy is house trained and lets you know when he needs to go outside by waiting patiently at the door. He has good leash manners, though he sometimes pulls with excitement, and he’s quickly picking up on basic commands like sit, stay, and come. Buddy is an energetic pup who thrives on activity—whether it’s long walks, hikes, or a game of fetch, he’s always ready for fun. He loves toys (especially bones and stuffed animals, though the latter don’t last long), enjoys being under the covers, and won’t hesitate to flop over for belly rubs or offer his paw for extra love. At the same time, Buddy is a cuddle bug who adores snuggling when it’s time to relax. He does well with other dogs and would be happiest in a home with a canine companion to keep him company. If that’s not possible, a family where someone is home much of the time would be a great fit. Buddy does best with structure and boundaries, as he’s still working on a few puppy behaviors like play biting, jumping up, and guarding food or toys around other dogs. With consistent guidance and lots of affection, he will continue to blossom into an amazing companion. Buddy is looking for an active, loving home where he can join in on adventures and get all the attention he craves. Could you be the one to give this spirited, affectionate boy his forever home? If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives! A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you. The adoption fee for this pet is $375. Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog.
