Dog Breed: Great Dane / Labrador Retriever / Mixed. Have you ever thought about actually owning Clifford the Big Red Dog? Cole is a beautiful, all-black, XL breed puppy. He is currently 55+ lbs at 4.5 months old. He is crate trained and is working on potty training. He loves everyone and has a very mischievous puppy personality and appreciates laying his head on a lap. He was reported to be great dane, but has a thicker body, so his foster thinks he might be part lab too. Cole loves to play with other dogs and is afraid of the cat in his foster home, so we believe he's safe with all animals. Cole isnt' for everyone, ok? Imagine spunky puppy energy, but at the size of a fully grown dog... and growing. He may grow to 150lb+!! Cole is an adorable, fluffy wrecking ball who will need a home without small children and would likely be a hazard with anyone who is unstable due to his size and his love for zoomies - he can take out knees when playing! This beautiful boy had a pretty difficult start in life and was removed from his home at only two months old, but he's adjusting great and is absolutely loving the positive attention, training and love that he's receiving in foster care. You'd never know he had a rough start by his fun-loving personality. He will need a family who is willing and able to provide structure, regular exercise, group training and socialization (as well as an actual ton of dog food) to help him be the best XL gentleman that he can be.
