Dog Breed: German Shepherd Dog / Mixed (short coat). Meet Rocky! I’m still a puppy full of love and curiosity! Sometimes I forget my size and get a little jumpy, so I’d do best with older kids who can handle my enthusiasm. I can also be a bit vocal (what can I say I love talking for attention!). What I really want is someone patient and kind to guide me, show me what’s right and wrong, and help me grow into the best companion I can be. Rocky’s journey hasn’t been easy he was abandoned at a park, briefly reclaimed, and then surrendered back to the shelter. Understandably, this left him scared, but he has calmed down a lot during his stay. Volunteers describe him as a very good dog who is eager to please, learns commands quickly, and is incredibly treat motivated. With the right family, Rocky’s playful energy, loyalty, and big heart will shine brighter than ever.
