Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat). Layla is a sweet, goofy, and gentle girl who’s ready to find her forever family. She previously lived with adult women and a 2-year-old child, and she did wonderfully in the home. Layla is crate trained she sleeps in her crate at night and can be left loose in the house during the day with no issues. She is also fully potty trained. I’m a big fan of bones, balls, and a good game of fetch! I know all my basics sit, stay, lay down, paw, and watch and I’m eager to keep learning. I can be a little nervous with loud noises like thunder, and sometimes I get attached to my people because I love them so much. I’ve also been told I make a pretty good guard dog. But when I’m not keeping an eye out, you’ll usually find me being a total couch potato, soaking up love and snuggles. They told me black dogs like me are overlooked but I promise to fill you with a lot of love. Layla is looking for a family who will appreciate her loyal, loving nature and give her the security she needs to feel safe.
