Meet Teja - a sweet, funny, four-year-old pittie who affectionately goes by the nickname "Sweet Potato." She's on the lookout for her forever home! Teja is affectionate and friendly - especially when meeting new people - and loves nothing more than pets and belly rubs. She's wonderful with older kids, though younger children can sometimes overwhelm her gentle nature. With other dogs, Teja is respectful and does best with pups smaller than her 70 pounds. When it comes to larger dogs, she can be a bit unsure, so a smaller canine companion would be the best fit. Her idea of a perfect day? A nice walk, some couch time, outdoor "sniff-aris" to explore the world, and plenty of snuggles with her humans. And if that day also includes the joy of deconstructing a toy, well, that's the cherry on top! What she could live without? Thunderstorms, allergy season, chicken, and sharp noises. What she'd happily trade them for? Car rides, treats, belly rubs, and naps.
