Name: Lolita Best Guess for Breed: Lab and shepherd mix Best Guess for Age: 5 months as of September 2025 SEX: female Approximate Weight: 25 lbs as of 9/12/25 - she is still growing! Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Currently Living at: South Carolina shelter - needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here! Special adoption considerations: Puppies under 6 months of age need to have multiple potty breaks/exercise throughout the day. Potential adopters with a standard 8-hour workday must be willing to make arrangements to meet the needs of their puppy. Lolita is Looking For: Her forever home! Lolita and her brother Lukas have had fun growing up together but they're ready to split up and get their own human families. Lolita is eagerly looking forward to having her own humans for sniffy walks and all the adventures they can dream up. And dog school so she can show how super smart she is. And then pets and cuddles and belly scritches at the end of a fun day together. Most of all, though, she wants to know she is safe and loved.
