Max has a big heart. He loves to run and play and loves the outdoors, but during down time he can be a great, quiet companion, and sit or lie next to you for loving or scratching, his favorite. Although he currently lives outside, he was primarily indoors (so far in his young life), with a family including a 7-year-old girl, and minding manners. He is house-trained and learning commands, including come and sit. He is very smart. Max loves people and other dogs. He always wants to be friends if others will let him. Max loves a car ride, and the companionship is what he loves the most. He has been on a hike in the mountains where others walk their dogs and has been to visit and play with friends that have dogs of their own. Max pulls really hard on a leash, but since he is a quick learner, we believe this can be overcome. He loves to please. This is his driving force, listening to people that are caring. Max is a little over 2 years old, a beautiful, loving, friendly Chocolate Labrador Retriever, about 80 lbs, good with kids. Good with other dogs. House-trained. Up to date on vaccinations, flea prevention, neutered, microchipped. Asking no rehoming fee or payment, just looking for a good home. Have videos we can send. Glad to meet and show him.
