We haven't seen him with kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Because Sweets is shy, he needs to go to a home with a confident, welcoming resident dog who will show him the ropes. Currently Living at: DC area foster home Sweets is Looking For: His forever home with another dog! This great pup is friendly, loving, and social with people and pups alike! He was in foster care in Texas for a while and his foster said he interacted with dogs and cats and did very well with both - he was quite happy when animals of both species were around. She also said he's good on leash, loves walks, and is good in the car. In the shelter, he's been dog friendly and loves playing with other dogs. Yeah all that is great but you know what he wants most of all? To have his own humans, to be safe and loved, to know where he belongs. What My DC Area Foster Says About Me: Sweets is amazingly sweet just like his name. Very submissive and gets along with dogs, cats and children. He’s amazing in the house and great on the leash. In fact, he loves walks and you can see his enthusiasm when it’s time for a walk! He also enjoys car rides and is calm during his rides. He loves to be pet, hugged and be your best cuddle buddy during movie or chill time. He’s a quiet pup and would do great in any home environment. Sweets is a true sweetie!
