This handsome young fellow is an absolute dream. He's 1 year old and fully grown at 18 pounds. He's a playful boy who loves his toys. He needs a home where he'll get plenty of walks and playtime. He's sweet and cuddly but not ready for a couch potato lifestyle. He's good with other dogs. Remi can be timid in unfamiliar situations and when meeting new people. He needs an adopter who will take the time to build his confidence. Remi was rescued from an abusive home by a good samaritan. As a result of his history, he is cautious around men but warms up with patience and kindness. Remi's beautiful coat will require regular grooming, his adopter must be prepared for that regular expense. Remi is housebroken. All our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.
