But with a little patience and some love from volunteers, his true personality has come shining through—and wow, is it worth the wait! Chucky is an energetic little spitfire who lives for playtime. Bring out a ball and he’ll show off his favorite moves—zoomies, perfect catches, and his signature post-fetch sploot when he’s ready for a break. He’s a total smarty-pants too, already mastering cues like drop, sit, back, and down. With his treat motivation and laser focus on his handler, he’s always eager to learn more. But Chucky isn’t all energy—he also has a soft side. Once the zoomies are out, he loves affection and will happily soak up belly rubs and ear scratches. If you’re looking for a playful, clever, and affectionate pup who will keep you laughing, keep you moving, and keep you loved, Chucky is your guy Chucky has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in his new home.
